Change seems to come easy to Lindsay Sillman. Particularly apt given that she’s the director of Change Management and Customer Service at MGK. But to her, it’s a lifelong love of learning and personal growth.

Nine years ago, Lindsay started as the credit manager at MGK and was promoted to customer service manager two short years later. And as MGK grew, so did Lindsay. In 2019, when the company responded to business growth by creating a brand-new department, Lindsay was asked to lead the team of two to ensure proper quality and control of MGK materials and products through their life cycle.

Now, Lindsay brings her expertise in other aspects the business to help her team assure product data is managed as it relates to compliance requirements, specifications, safety, customer requirements, logistical requirements and manufacturing configurations. She’s also responsible for MGK’s customer service team. The best part? Her team’s work touches every aspect of the business at MGK. They are truly laying the foundation with products for all of us to be successful!

One of her favorite parts of working at MGK is that she’s always learning. She gets to see all the complexities of a process manufacturing plant and collaborate with all the hardworking people who run it. And that’s what she loves best about our company: the people and culture. She knows MGK is a special place to work, where all levels and roles are appreciated and valued.

She’s proud to work for a company that creates products that positively impact people’s quality of life. Lindsay especially appreciates that Sumitomo’s global companies are focused on community.

Lindsay graduated from the University of Wisconsin – Madison with an undergraduate degree in Communications Arts Science and Rhetoric and a certificate in Women’s Studies. She received her MBA from Augsburg College.

Lindsay lives on the Mississippi River with her husband and two children. They spend summers in true Minnesota style, living the river life, enjoying campfires, fireworks and fishing.
